I wrote a few days ago about a cable car but forgot what it was called, and it came to me out of the blue yesterday. I called it a line car that took us to the top of the mountain that we hiked down at Stone Mountain.
Sometimes that happens to me with people too, I may recognize their face but not remember how we met or how I know them. Also sometimes on the phone, my brain is trying to figure out who I am talking to while they are in a full blown conversation. It all gets figured out eventually, but it makes me think of a friend that I worked on cruise ships with. We used to take the passengers on a tour bus when we would be in port, by the end of the trip he would know everyone by name, he had some kind of word association technique, it was amazing.
It is so interesting to listen to our kids and the way they express themselves. In the picture below you see from the left our six year old cousin, then my son who is five, then our four year old cousin, and my daughter is 3, and my baby will be two in March. It is so nice they are close in age and in friendship. My kids have remembered all of our trips to visit family, and I know they will talk about this vacation until the next one for sure.
Shabbat Shalom,

If you have photos, put them into an online photo book (I can help you if you haven't done it before) and make it into a storybook. It will help them remember the trip and prepare them for the next time that they see their cousins. Photo books are the best way to remember a great adventure.
