What is a Seder?

Stay tuned tomorrow for the first haircut, he
was so good and calm, his hair was messy and annoying
for him, but we are still getting used to the big boy look
The first two days of Passover we have a Seder, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passover_Seder, there are many details, we follow a specific order and read out of a book that walks us through all of the details and prayers.  Some of these you will see in the video below, we drink four cups of wine, we break a piece of Matza and hide it for the kids to find later and win a prize, and we either have tons of guests or get invited where there are also tons of guests.  It usually falls around Easter and this year it is the same weekend, so there is a funny reference to an Easter party in the video.

We completed everything we wanted to do with the cleaning and organizing of our home.  I just have to put everything in its place tomorrow and my husband will do the final cleanse.  In the middle of it all we are looking for dresses for my brother in law's wedding, and figuring out how we are going to survive the next eight days without Pizza, Cookies, Pretzels, Bread of any kind, of course there are alternatives, but that is what my kids love and are easy snacks.  The good thing is we eat protein and vegetables, it is actually a very healthy way to eat.  Also Matza with everything, cream cheese, chocolate, even deli meats, you have to be creative, especially with the kids.

Chag Kasher V Sameach,
Happy Passover,
Coach Yulia
