Three types of moods on the day after the New Year

I don't know if this is completely true, but found it amusing.  I found New Year fun all the time, but now with three toddlers,
I am happy not to be around masses in the cold, and there is nothing like my natural high.
Also love to feel like every day we start anew.

I have been reading all types of thoughts about the New Year, and they fall into three categories.

  • Positive and Inspiring
There are so many people writing about change and starting fresh, and all types of goals from weight loss to personal growth.

  • Already second guessing New Year Resolutions
Everyone wants to jump on the I am going to get better and commit bandwagon.  I think its a good thing to feel motivated, but not to put yourself into something that is not right for you although it may be right for everyone else in the world.  Also something unachievable, and is feel good in the moment, but ultimately a let down.
  • Why Should I Change A Thing Life Is Good
Although this seems positive, life is about being present, being active, enjoying relationships with friends and family.  Although I feel happy with what I have, I am always open to it getting bettter and better.

I hope the world as a whole has a little bit of each of the three above,
Shabbat Shalom,
Coach Yulia
