Hot, Whiny, and Tired

Life is good, my husband took the kids to synagogue this morning, and I had the best nap ever.  Then we had a play date, so we were out the rest of the day until bedtime.  So overall it has been a great Day of Rest, I got to hang out with a good friend while our kids were having fun together.  The funny thing about parenthood is things happen throughout the day that we just deal with, and in the moment it is annoying, and every parent has a different approach to deal.

My daughter wore shoes on her walk to and from synagogue that had given her blisters before, so we prepared and put bandages in the places we remembered.  She came home upset because two places needed new bandages and were really hurting.  I was happy it was only two, last time it was six, but nothing was pleasing her, she wanted neosporin, then the bandage would come off, then she didn't like the shape or the color of the bandage, so it is a whole conversation with whining, but such is life with kids.

Then it was time to walk to our play date, my son does not like transitions, he got upset, so I told him he could stay home with his father, and he wanted to be with me, he was saying it won't be fun, and they all ended up having a great time, so I explain to him it is good to try new things, but such is life with kids.

It was a really hot and muggy day for Los Angeles, the baby did not nap, seemed in a good mood overall, and before it was time to leave our friends to go home he threw up all over the floor, which Thank God was a wooden floor.  So I had to clean it up first, then go clean him up, and on the way outside out of the building he threw up on me some more.  Luckily we live close by, so we got home, got him and me showered, and then gave him some water, and he threw that up too, throw up number three.  Luckily they are all asleep now, it was a long hot day, but such is life with kids.

There is really nothing to complain about,
We are blessed with these kind of problems,
Thank God they are good sleepers, although it is always a mission for them to finally go to sleep,
Now I have some work to do for a meeting tomorrow,
All is Good,
Its All Good,
Life is Good,
As a parent it is nice to get it out, especially with other parents that totally get it,
