Face Yourself

Yes these kind of pictures are what happens when I take a moment to go online, and then they run over to me.  My baby is wearing one of five clown noses that my husband and I brought home from a party we went to, yes adult party of people that dress like clowns, but that is another blog.

So today I had an amazing quiet Pilates class, and new people were tuning in, people that sometimes are obsessed with their phones paid attention to themselves instead.  Someone glanced in and asked me the difference between Yoga and Pilates.  I always explain in like this, Yoga is a full body experience, as well as a relaxation for the mind.  Pilates is core, abdominals, glutes, and lower back strengthening.  What they have in common is that it is an exercise where the mind and body have to connect, or else the workout is not as effective, and if the form is not correct it could cause injury

It is not easy to be in a quiet room, and putting your attention on your breath and form, the mind keeps on trying to wander.  It is not easy to deal, to face yourself, to accept and respect where you are, to keep working on it, practicing, because that is how we learn, by practice.

I like to face life,
I enjoy when my classes are a place where people feel safe to open up and face themselves,
Thank you for allowing my flow,
Thank you for the energy exchange,
Coach Yulia
