Heavy

The Los Angeles desert sun is beautiful, but when I am in it too long it makes me nauseous.  I grew up in Miami, the humidity is intense, but you are always in air conditioning.  The sun is not as strong there, but the humidity definitely gives you a hug, and my skin was so happy in Miami.

Here my skin is dry, my throat is dry, and it gets even worse when the Santa Ana winds come. Sometimes there is no wind, but dust and heat, my head feels like someone is sitting on it, I feel a heaviness in the air.  It is not sinus, and it is annoying, I have been blessed to not know headaches in my life, when the hot winds come, the headaches come to visit me.  Unfortunately my baby gets the same symptoms and fever as well, poor guy, he is doing better Thank God.

This morning I was home with my recovering little boy, he still was a bit fussy, I finally put him to nap, and dozed off myself for a bit.  I had to get up and go to work, everyone was a bit off today, from the little kids, to the older kids, and even the adults that I taught Yoga to in the evening.

I am happy to be home, and happy to be going to bed.  I glanced online and ran across an amazing video.  It is a video of hope, acceptance, discovery, diversity, and God Willing the future.
