The News and Perspectives you don't see

After waiting for 3 months in Egypt, a convoy of humanitarian aid from France was allowed into Gaza. But not through Egypt...through Israel. The coordinator of the aid shipment stated, "The convoy stayed in Egypt for more than three months when it decide to change the convoy path..."
Another story you WON'T see in the media.
"The items will be delivered to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, which is known to take donated aid and then sell them to gain more cash for Hamas."

The partial shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security is now rescheduled for March 6, courtesy of “moderate” House Republicans who prevailed over their more extreme peers. But as someone who has tried to run a federal department during a showdown over a shutdown (mine was the Department of Labor back in 1995, when Gingrich’s House threatened and then did shut the government), I can tell you that the continuous threat of de-funding dramatically hobbles a department’s capacity to function. Time is drained away from more important business. Hiring freezes create havoc with personnel management. It’s impossible to recruit top-notch talent when Congress is threatening to cut off paychecks. Government contractors increase their bids to cover the cost of uncertainty.
In other words, House Republicans have already compromised the Department of Homeland Security, at a time when America needs it fully functional. The Republicans who took over Congress in January said they’d prove they can govern. They’ve already proven the opposite.

Netanyahu is stating what should be obvious, yet, somehow, to some, is not. When the obvious becomes vague and unclear, it’s time for people to speak out. Benjamin Netanyahu has committed himself to speak in Congress despite an overwhelmimg message from the white house that he is not welcome. Why would any diplomat purposefully act in defiance to a clear message from a allied country’s leader.
Perhaps because the message he brings is so important.
While Obama withholds the details concerning an agreement he intends to sign with Iran from Congress, Netanyahu is prepared, despite the outward hostility shown by a leader of a naion that owes Israel a great deal, to come to the U.S. and explain the ramifications of Obama’s “agreement” with the Iranians which will create an immediate threat not only to Israel and other moderate countries of the Persian Gulf, but to Europe and the entire world.
Netanyahu needs to know that he’s not alone. It’s time to stand up and make it clear that world opinion backs the courageous Israeli prime minister who is a true friend to the United States and all free, democratic countries.
I support everything that is said in these links and videos.
As the holiday of Purim approaches, we are reminded again there was a time where the Jewish people were in danger.  We persevered, and Israel and the Jewish people are stronger than ever.
