WE KEEP CELEBRATING LIFE

I am in awe of so many people I know travelling to Israel, two families I know went yesterday.  Life keeps moving, things can change in an instant, that is why the Jewish philosophy is to live in the moment, be an example, and keep doing good deeds to make the world a better place.  Even with all the violence happening in Jewish communities all over the world, we are buzzing around getting our homes and tables ready for Shabbat.  People in Israel have lived with this unfortunately since the beginning, so just going on with life is the only way of being.  I just got home from a Yoga class and am feeling amazing.

We heard there was a 72 humanitarian cease fire, for the fifth time Hamas attacked, with a suicide bomber they slipped through a crack in one of the tunnels and kidnapped an Israeli soldier who is a relative of a friend in my community and is engaged, his wedding is in a few weeks, before Rosh Hashana,

There is a rally tomorrow against Israel in Los Angeles on Wilshire at the Federal Building, please stay home, enjoy your meal and good times with your family, enjoy this Day of Rest.

One thing we can keep doing as Jewish people is celebrating life, living in the moment, and teaching our children to be positive, open, giving, caring, and also stand up for what they believe in.  Life is where its at, take care of you, find what makes you feel good, have fun, laugh, be kind, give of your gifts, keep connected, and just shine the light withing you.

Shabbat Shalom,
Coach Yulia
