Inward Motivation

Today I am coming across so many interpretations that are not the norm, and just like the video at the end of the blog, where each person is counting from 0-100, is a unique soul, and isn't that the way it should be?

What do you think of this?

I find it so beautiful, where it is traditionally a mother's role, or that is what you always see.  Here is a father and a son, giving their love and warmth to new life, being a family, this is how it should be.

How about this?

everyone's piling up on rachel dolezal for recreating/presenting herself as an african american. i have my own thoughts on the matter, but here's something to chew on: wasn't everyone just celebrating caitlyn jenner like, two seconds ago? if gender is a "social construct" and race is a "social construct" why cant somebody be transracial just the same as someone can be transgender? why cant someone asian decide to be indian, or someone white to be black, not to "pass" but because thats how/what they "identify" with? curious on your thoughts...

[International Business Times] Several media reports have identified Rachel Dolezal's parents as a white couple from Montana, despite her claims to be African-American.

I was thinking the other day that I operate on INWARD MOTIVATION, I go by what feels right, and always check in with myself, and it is more valuable to me than anything else.  In some fields people are motivated by Outward Motivation, such as money, trips, or other tangible rewards.  Of course ideally both would be phenomenal, but if I had to choose one, it would without a doubt be inward.

How about you?
Ponder that this weekend,
Shabbat Shalom,

What a video! 0-100 in Hebrew like you’ve never heard it (or seen it!) before
