Morning until Bedtime

Sunday is our non stop day, during the week there is school and work, and on Saturday we have our Day of Rest.  Sunday is when all of the events happen, birthday parties, shows, play dates, and just fun around town.  Today we have so much going on, we will make an appearance, and hop around town gracing everyone with our presence!  My kids sometimes get overwhelmed with all of my plans and ideas, and at times do not appreciate all of my effort and energy.  That is OK, I know when they grow up, they will remember all the good times and all the places, events, and shows that they saw with me.

No matter what time the kids go to sleep, 6am is the wake up time at our house.  I am the breakfast maker, we either have kasha, buckwheat with cottage cheese, oatmeal with raisins and honey, toast with cream cheese and lox, cereal and almond milk, always a full breakfast. Then depending on our plan, we either get ready right away, or do our sticker charts, sometimes they play a game, sometimes we watch a show, they love wild kratts and sid the science kid.

Every Sunday morning my husband washes our cars, inside and out, then comes in and washes the kids, then we can start our day.  This morning I am subbing a Yoga class, taking the kids with me to play in the kids club, and grabbing a friend to join me.  Then we are coming home and having a light lunch before going to a birthday party of friends, the boys are staying the whole party, while my daughter and I are joining all of the women in our circle, family and friends, for an amazing production of Annie, for women and girls only, our future cousin is one of the stars.

After all the fun, I finish my night teaching Yoga to one of my favorite couples. So grateful for my husband for taking care of our kids, dinner and bedtime, while supporting me to do what I love. Excited for the week ahead.  Besides the early mornings, feeling like a non stop waitress, some whining and fighting, I am grateful for these kind of problems, independent, happy, full of energy kids.
