Each Day is a Fresh Start

As adults we may agree and we may disagree, whether we choose to go on with our day and not let it live rent free in our brain is completely up to each individual.  Forgiveness, letting go, and trusting that everything is for the good and a learning experience is what works for me.

Yesterday I blogged about how no matter what our kids deserve our love physically and verbally 24/7.  Of course last night there was not a "using your words," kind of night, but a whining, crying, and not being nice to mommy kind of night.  This morning I reminded the kids how the behavior last night was not OK, but once again, each day is a fresh start, we cannot hold grudges with our kids.  We have to be the example, although it is not easy, we cannot walk away, we cannot say get out of here, I am not your friend anymore!

Such is life, strong personalities colliding in positive and challenging ways every day.  We can choose to surround ourselves with wonderful, positive people.  However it is up to parents to raise wonderful, positive people.  Not so easy to look in the mirror, let go of the ego, and really look at ourselves.  What are we projecting to our children?

Lifelong Journey My Friends,

All Good,
It's what makes us spicy,
