YA-YOU

My husband took our yummy baby to play at a mall nearby, love his little head compared to the big watermelon.  Ya-You is how he says I love you, and of course I think it is the sweetest words in the world, he is just such a pleasure.  My kids were playing amazing pretend games today.  I love that we have a day without TV, computers, phones, or any other distractions, no where to go, just home hanging out for most of the day.  We have a kids tool set, there is a drill, they were pretending to be robots and to drill screws into each other, and they talked and moved like robots.

Later on they pretended to be super snakes, before they were always lions or cheetahs, and the super snakes started from pure imagination.  There is this child's game, it is like a puzzle, and once you put the puzzle pieces together they look like shoes with areas to put laces.  Just like everything else my kids like to take everything apart and create a completely new game out of it.  So somehow these laces became super snakes.  Just like playing house, the super snakes have beds, and they go out to play, they live in a house made of blankets and pillows under a loft bed.

For me it is pure pleasure to see what comes out of their creative minds.  My baby plays along in his own way, lately he wants to be a kitty so he crawls around on all fours and meows.  Maybe because over Passover we were house sitting for a cat, but he did it even before that.

I love after a day of rest feeling the need to be productive and get organized and get things done.  It is hard to believe we are almost done with the kids school year, so we are figuring out the summer, and the following school year.

Never ending joy ride with kids,
Sometimes a thrill,
Sometimes you want to jump off,
Definitely the ride of your life,
I am glad I had to right place, right time experience to be able to be on this ride called motherhood,
I will have a big party when my littlest is out of diapers, and when he is sleeping as good as my other two,
But as they say, one thing passes and the other begins,
It is never boring,
Woo Hoo!
