24 Hours - sometimes good, sometimes not so good

I got Claritin D for my allergies, it is a 24 hour time release medication.  I did not sleep a wink last night, asked if the non drowsy would keep me from sleeping, the pharmacist did not know, you can only get this brand from the pharmacist direct.   I feel that not so good kind of medicated state all day, on a positive note all my allergy symptoms are gone, but at what cost.  Tonight at  6pm will be 24 hours, I hope it all wears off by bedtime tonight so I can get the natural healing of sleep.

That is the not so good 24 hours, now coming up I have 3 days in a row of holiday fun.  Usually I have my 24 hour rest day after Shabbat, and it is the most amazing recharge every week.  The Sukkot holiday starts tonight for two days and then leads into Shabbat, so I will be off the grid. Unlike the restful day of Shabbat, the holidays are full of energy, time in the synagogue with friends, and then going to lunch and dinner with friends in all the Sukkahs in the neighborhood, it is so much fun.  This is an eight day holiday, which culminates in a huge party celebrating finishing reading the Torah. After the initial two days, there are parties with music, birthday celebrations, and inspiring words of the meaning of this holiday.  My birthday is around the corner too!  Fun, Fun, Fun :)  You can read all about it at this link, http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday5.htm.

Eating breakfast this morning, my baby is still sleeping, that is the Sukkah that my baby made in his preschool, and a flag that my big boy made in his Jewish Academy, my girl made a little birdhouse to hang in a Sukkah, so excited to Sukkah hop :)
