Presence of Mind

I am trying to express the way I feel lately, and the term Presence of Mind came into my head, but the definition says it is usually in times of crisis that people get clear and focused to do what has to be done.  I am interpreting this phrase in a different way, it is when you have all your ducks in a row, everything is set, there is nothing to worry or plan anymore.  I feel this way since my kids started school and even more so since I am starting my new schedule tomorrow.

I had two amazing private family sessions today, multiple ages of kids, parents, and grandparents doing Yoga at their own pace, and just enjoying feeling comfortable with family, trying and learning new things.  Then took all the kids to my baby's speech therapy session which is in a fun place with tons of toys, they all were engrossed in a play dough factory play set.  The therapist was so impressed how my baby's attention was held for the whole session, but it was fun, tons of tools, and a press, they made all kinds of shapes.  We do not have it at home, so for them it was so fun to just get creative and messy with it and do whatever they wanted.

Now home waiting for some family that is in town to have a big lunch, then taking my kids to a friends swimming pool, it is so hot and humid in LA.  I don't remember ever sweating this much in my life, and I grew up in Miami!

Got interrupted by my tired baby, it's three hours later, he took a nap and I took my older two to the pool, it was perfect, at the end of the day it is under the shade and just the perfect temperature, just what we needed.

My presence of mind comes from so many wonderful things lined up, busy doing what I love, kids in school and happy and learning, my husband busy growing and networking, everything is as it should be.

We all need to get the best nights sleep ever,
To get ready for our busy week,
Trying our best to enjoy the journey,
Be Present,
Be Mindful,
Just Be,
Coach Yulia
