For me the age of six is starting out amazing, I am so proud of my big boy, today is his Hebrew birthday Yud Gimmel Elul. Since I got married and had kids, and learned about so many holidays and birthdays, I just love to celebrate every morsel of life. The moon is beautiful and full, and today my boy had a small celebration in his Jewish after school program with sprinkle cookies. This Friday I am taking him as promised on a double decker bus all around town, his birthday is September 13, but it is our Day of Rest. Friday after school, he gets out earlier than the other kids, and thanks to my parents who gave it to us as a gift, he will have the best time starting out being six.
My husband and I met in January 2007, married in August 2007, and Eli Tzvi was born September 2008. What a journey, what a wise, powerful, and sensitive soul he is. Such a big helper, full of love, so expressive, just full of fun and energy, I am a proud mama.
