Stream of Consciousness

I was with my amazing friend and Doula client who is a teacher, and she told me that she has a deep connection to her students, and they contact her for advice about life.  The funny thing is when they text her, she says you know its a kid when its a whole bunch of texts in a row, like a stream of consciousness.

Then it clicked!  That is how I blog, I type 90 words per minute and I just let the thoughts flood in.  I always spell check at the end, and proofread, but I love to just flow and see what comes out.  Luckily now it is flowing, but as I put the title, I felt what authors call, "writer's block,"  but that is ok, because if that is where I am at then I will just say so.

Today was an amazing day, I got to know a brilliant woman from London that has lived in Los Angeles for the past eight years and she is a fellow Jewess.  Her great uncle invented the pacemaker...yes the pacemaker.  He also invented an amazing machine that she demonstrated on me today, you can look at the photo in this blog to read all about it.  Basically it is $55 a session, if you get 10 it goes down to $50, and many women and men come to her to get those last inches off, and boy do I want those inches off my stretched belly after three kids.  It felt kind of tingly and enjoyable, not painful at all, and she turned it super intense just for me, 30 minutes, I am excited if I finally found what would work for my belly.  I eat healthy, I am active, I am always changing my workouts, am I a workoutaholic? NO! I don't want to be, I have more important things to do like be a wife and a mom and a Yoga Instructor and a PE teacher, and a Doula.  Not to mention just me, discovering and learning new things, and taking a complete day off of the world on Shabbat, Thank God! I would not survive my non stop, fun, fabulous, full of adventure, social life if I didn't have my 24 hours off every week.
