First Word Problems

I usually do not like to use the word problem, I would rather use challenge, but in this case it is a play on words.  Most of us really have no problems, and should count our blessings every day.  Since our Los Angeles weather turned chilly, I cannot help but smile when I hear anyone including myself say they are freezing.  I was cold this morning when I ran out to take my 9:30am Yoga class in my yoga pants and light long sleeve with my jacket in my hand and birkenstocks with no socks.  The lady that said that she was freezing put a sweater on her dog that she always brings and puts on a leash outside the door, and usually has her mat close to the door so he could see her.

My older two are in school, I didn't get much sleep last night because of my teething baby, so when I came home from my Yoga class I took a nap with the baby, he is still napping, I just got up and my husband made some delicious tilapia that you see in the picture for lunch.

Friday is my husband's day to get the house ready for Shabbat, he is OCD and Thank God cleans, I get everything in its place, organize, and everything off the floor, then my job is to keep the kids out of the way.  He is also the most amazing Mediterranean cook thanks to his Israeli upbringing, but he also cooks some amazing Russian dishes, so blessed.

I am going to leave my daughter and baby at home to watch a show, and have a date with my oldest.  I keep on hearing how important it is to do this, so today, just him and I right after school which ends early will take him on the metro to go ice skating, and then come home to a wonderful Shabbat with our family.

God really gave me my match, what I needed, it blows my mind, we just figured out how to visit my family for my father's birthday all together, and everything is done on a very limited budget.

I was just reading some Facebook posts about real problems people from all walks of life are having, and any time I or anyone else talks about a first world problem, I just smile.

Shabbat,
Shalom
