Getting Ready
This is turning out to be an oddly busy and eventful week. Yesterday the baby and I had a great time at a new Babyccino mommy and me series, all about Purim and Pesach, our Jewish holidays that are coming up. I also started a new Prenatal Yoga class, and squeezed in a weight workout of my own before. I think for my personality it is all about squeezing things in, I get a pleasure out of it. If my schedule suddenly changes and I have an extra hour, I sometimes go way out of my way to do an errand and then end up running to my already scheduled appointment. I suppose it gives me a thrill do get things done, but sometimes I really have to take a moment and see if it is worth all the running around, sitting in traffic, and running late. I do not like to be late, I usually end up in places exactly on time, but it would be better if I would aim for five or ten minutes before for my own sanity.
Today I am getting ready for a Brit Mila, a circumcision ceremony, I am so excited to celebrate a new baby boy. Tomorrow I will be getting ready for a memorial for my one of a kind friend, she will be remembered by all the people that loved her and new her beautiful full of life energy that inspired everyone she met. Thursday I will be getting ready for a Gala dinner celebrating our synagogue, it has been in our community for 32 years.
These are all celebrations, of a new life, of a beautiful life that affected so many people, and a community pillar that has brought so many beautiful holiday gatherings, family traditions, an amazing preschool that has been around over 20 years, and stood alongside during the trying times, to support, to uplift, and to lend a hand. I always say that I feel so blessed that I didn't just marry my husband but I married this community.
Blessed,
Coach Yulia
